Lake Travis ISD Homes for Sale

On June 12, 1981, Lake Travis Independent School District was carved from Dripping Springs Independent School District in a move to build an educational program which would better meet the needs of the students from the Lake Travis area. The new District boundaries became the Travis and Hays county line on the south, the Pedernales River to the west, the shores of Lake Travis on the north, and Lake Austin and Barton Creek to the east, encompassing 118.2 square miles. The almost 5,000 District students are currently serviced by seven campuses: Lake Travis High School, Lake Travis Middle School, Hudson Bend Middle School, Lakeway Elementary, Bee Cave Elementary Lake Pointe Elementary, Lake Travis Elementary
