We all love Austin.  But as a native Austinite it is sometimes hard to explain to our northern or west coast friends what makes Austin so great. We've got the best of all worlds here in the center of Texas.  Sun in January, access to Austin Lakes and Rivers year round, pleny of golf, live music and entertainment (Austin is the Live Music Capital of the World), a thriving economy and real estate market, new developments and corporate headquarters, various colleges and universities along with their sports teams, and some of the best darn food (BBQ & Tex Mex) this side of the Atlantic. 

But if this doesn't convince our neighbors that Austin is really a mecca for relaxation and enjoyment - let's just let those that get paid to rank cities tell our story.
